Hero for High Times

The multi-talented Ian Marchant, memoirist, travel-writer and stand-up comedian, talks about his latest book ‘A Hero for High Times’.

Marchant became friends with outsider Bob Rowberry, and having listened to his stories for thirty years, decided to tell his tale in a sort-of biography. Rowberry, was the first person to project psychedelic oil-wheel patterns onto Pink Floyd live, introduced Afgan Coats to the UK, played tambourine of stage with Led Zepplin and Procol Harum were named after his cat (!).

If you remember this moment in history, if your parents regaled you with stories, or you missed him at lit fest, now is your chance to hear the remarkable account of Bob Rowberry.

Entry is £2.50, includes a glass of wine.
